Meet The Pasta Squad

JEFF GARDNER CSC

CHEF / PASTA-PRENEUR

Our founder, Jeff Gardner, is a professionally trained chef and has worked in restaurants in Italy, New York, Atlanta and the Napa Valley. He wanted to develop a regional pasta in his home state of Oregon. He looked to see what was available in the Willamette Valley. Then he found Camas Country Mill and they had an enthusiasm that matched his own for trying to develop and create a pasta using local wheats. After a year of testing different grinds of wheat, he created a texture that he could stand behind with a delicious flavor. He began producing the pasta in May 2014. He loves mountain biking and outdoor activities in his spare time.

  • Alumni of The Culinary Institute of America Hyde Park, NY.
  • Certified Sous Chef, by The American Culinary Federation.
  • ITALCOOK GRADUATE – JESI, ITALY.
  • Has lived and cooked in New York, Napa Valley, Atlanta, Italy, and Oregon.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT:

To Feed a hungry spirit a scrumptious, local, restaurant high quality, nutritious pasta made from wheat grown in the Willamette Valley from farms that use sustainable, organic methods.

I always love to hear  from customers. Please e-mail me your questions or comments to jeff@pastagardner.com Grazie! (Thank you!) for visiting Pasta Gardner.

I believe when you feed that soul in your gut you can observe how for that temporary moment you become stratified, stress free, and ready to relax or  next task at hand. When you feed someone else it shows you care for them the same way you would care for yourself. It creates an opportunity to connect, share and make moments with others over food. I created a local pasta to help Feed our community, support the farms that grow the wheat so they can Feed their families and all together help Feed our economy.

Our promise to you is that we will only use the highest quality organic wheat possible.
